“Treat” your dogs well.

As pet owners, we all want to ensure our furry friends are healthy and happy. One way to do that is by making homemade treats for them.

Today, we’re going to share a recipe for homemade dog treats that not only taste great but also provide your pet with some important health benefits.

These treats contain ingredients that are specifically chosen to support your dog’s overall health and well-being.  They are easy to make and only take a few minutes to prepare:

Here are the ingredients you will need:

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the sweet potato and peanut butter in an oven-safe bowl. Warm them up until the peanut butter is melted enough to be stirred. This should take about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the bowl from the oven and mix the sweet potato and peanut butter together.
  4. Add the AniGreens, Defend Your Pet, Longer Lives, and Pure Clean Pets to the bowl and stir everything together until it is well combined.
  5. Scoop the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming either small balls or breadstick shapes.
  6. Bake the treats for approximately 10-15 minutes, turning them once if they are getting too brown. You want them to be firm to the touch and lightly browned.
  7. Allow the treats to cool completely before giving them to your furry friend. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Why These Ingredients?

Each ingredient in this recipe has been carefully selected for its health benefits. Here’s what each one does:

  • Sweet potato: This root vegetable is high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It supports digestive health, promotes healthy skin and coat, and provides antioxidants that support the immune system.
  • Organic peanut butter: This protein-rich ingredient is a good source of healthy fats and contains vitamins and minerals that support heart health, muscle function, and brain function.
  • Quick oats: Oats are a great source of fiber and contain vitamins and minerals that support digestive health, heart health, and healthy skin and coat.
  • AniGreens: This prebiotic supplement is high in special fibers that support digestive health, promote friendly bacteria in the gut, and help with digestion and inflammation. It also supports the immune system.
  • Defend your pet: This supplement is designed to protect your pet from aging and disease. It maintains DNA integrity, which is crucial to ensure proper cell function. The ingredients include Vitamin C&K2, magnesium, quercetin, NAD, and carrot powder to defend your pet from oxidative stress and inflammation.
  • Longer lives: This supplement contains a blend of bovine collagen peptide and red beet powder to help strengthen the heart, liver, joints, bones, skin, and digestive system. Collagen is one of the primary building blocks in skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and blood vessels and supports the immune system, which is important for animals exposed to Lyme disease.
  • Pure Clean Pets: This supplement is designed to safely remove toxins and heavy metals from your pet’s body. Pets can be exposed to toxins from the air, food, water, pesticides on the grass, asphalt, ticks, and Lyme disease. Removing these toxins can support overall health and well-being.

As pet owners, we all want our furry companions to live long, healthy, and happy lives. However, our pets face many challenges that can compromise their health, including exposure to toxins and a weakened immune system.
